Crispin Glover's Weird Characters

Crispin Glover, born in April 1964, is an American actor, director, musician, and author. He is mostly known for his acting performances, and has his own production company, Volcanic Eruptions. In his acting performances, the ones that draw the most attention are the bizzare characters that he plays in most movies. In back to the future, he plays the role of George McFly, father of the main character Marty McFly. George is a character who has never ben able to stand up for himself, ever since his childhood. In the movie, they show that he used to be bullied by Biff Tannen in his past, and that he couldn't react because he was scared of them.

Glover also pays a mysterious character in Charlie's angels known as the "thin man". In this action movie directed by McG, the "thin man" is a villain, who has a very unusual behavior.

Additionally, Glover plays the role of Willard Stiles in Glen Morgan's Willard (2003). In this horror movie, Willard is a man who doesn't really fit in in the society, especially in the place where he works because of his boss who abuses him. Since he doesn't fit in well in the society, he aims at a different society to build his popularity: the rat population. He gets to know the rats that live under his house and learns to communicate with them and therefore to give them evil orders...

Glover's latest movie is Alice in Wonderland, in which he stars as the Knave of Hearts, an exceedingly tall and very arrogant soldier, head of the army of the Red Queen who is the main villain of the movie.

Is Edward Daniels Sane Or Insane In Shutter Island?

First of all, Edward aka Teddy Daniels would've never been permitted to leave the island if he was truly "criminally insane":
Teddy Daniels and Chuck Aule Heading To Shutter Island
The picture above is a snapshot of the boat in which Teddy and his partner Chuck Aule went to the island. And Teddy was walking around the boat without being closely watched; a criminally insane individual could never have all that freedom inside a boat, unless he is well attached. Also, when Teddy and Chuck were interviewing the patients as shown in the picture below, the patient who had axed her husband made Chuck go away by asking him a glass of water, and she secretly wrote a note for Teddy saying "run", warning him that he is in danger. We could never discover the reason why this patient wanted to give the warning only to Teddy... That is because she knew that Chuck was working with Dr Cawley and the other doctors.

If you read a more detailed article on the subject, you will see that even the doctors contradicted themselves after saying that there were no lobotomy taking place on the island. Furthermore, when Teddy met Rachel Solando (the real one) in the cave, everything she told him seemed to match the situation Teddy was facing, including the drugged cigarettes, the drugged aspirins, and the bad dreams. The picture below shows one of Teddy's horrific nightmares. In this one, he's holding his deceased wife, while blood is coming out of her and she is turning into dust.
