Machete Previous Apparitions In Other Movies

The movie Machete, starring Danny Trejo as Machete, was released on September 3rd, 2010. It has had a quite large success since it hit the theaters. What most people have forgotten though is that the Machete character has made some apparitions in other movies before having an official movie.

1.The Desperado

Starring Antonio Banderas as The Mariachi. The movie is showing The Mariachi's journey to take down a notorious Mexican drug dealer named Bucho.

This movie was released on August 25th, 1995. A second movie titled Once Upon A Time In China co-starring Johnny Depp was released 8 years later.

In this movie, Danny Trejo plays a character named Narvajas instead of Machete. It is not sure whether it is the same character or not, but narvajas actually means "knives", and Narvajas had the same looks and attitude as Machete.

2.Spy Kids

It's the story of Carmen and Juni, the two children of a couple of veteran spies, Gregorio and Ingrid Cortez

When the spy parents are kidnapped by a supervillain, Carmen and Juni discover their secret, and have to become spies themselves in order to save them.

The Spy Kids movie series includes a total of three movies:

Spy Kids 2: The Island Of Lost Dreams (2002)

Spy Kids 3D: Game Over (2003)

In these movies, Isidoro Cortez, also known as Machete, is the brother of Gregorio Cortez, secret agent and father of the spy kids. Below is a scene (in french) from Spy Kids 3D with Machete:

Inception

The main character of the inception movie is Dom Cobb (Leonardo Dicaprio). He is a thief who is very demanded in he espionnage business because him and his team specialize in a very specific domain called extraction. He sneek into the dreams of other people while they're asleep, and steals ideas, thoughts, and secrets from their mind. The fact that not many people are known worldwide to be experts in this field gives Cobb a lot of success. However, his work also causes him to become an international fugitive, and he has to abandon all the things that he cherishes the most because of that. Therefore, Cobb is forced to live a very lonely life, but a unique job offer that is given to him once gives him the opportunity to change his fugitive life back to normal. Instead of stealing thoughts from the mind of a person, he has to plant one, and if he succeeds, he'll have a chance to turn his life back to normal. This process that Cobb is asked to complete, which is basically the opposite of extraction, is called inception, and has never been done before by any specialist whatsoever.

Baltimore female rapper Keys, whose real name is Keyona Turner, released a second video from her infiltration mixtape, titled Sponsor. In this video, she has a nice wig on and is wearing a lot of makeup, and many people say that she is imitating Nicki Minaj's style. However, another large number of people say that she has this appearance in the video to better illustrate the message that she is trying to pass, and indeed that thesis can be justified especially when at the end of the video she drops the fancy clothes and makeup and shows "the real her". The opinions vary on the video, but it is still getting more and more popular day by day...

Eminem aka Slim Shady is Back

After the album Relapse, Marshall Mathers aka Eminem dropped a new album titled Recovery. In this new album, the rapper says in his own words that he is "back", proving it with a set of songs that demonstrate better skills than his previous songs. Indeed, the fans seem to agree with Eminem's statement in their reviews and comments on this new album that is currently among the best if not THE best, and that includes some great collaborations such as Not Afraid, Love The Way You Lie featuring Rihanna, No Love featuring Lil Wayne, and more:

Above was Won't Back Down featuring Pink. Like the album title suggests it, Eminem seems to have recovered.

Chris Brown Cries At The 2010 BET Awards show

In the 2010 BET awards show which took place in June, Chris Brown got the chance to perform his Michael Jackson tribute that he was unable to perform earlier because of the incident with Rihanna. He started off with a great show and a great imitation of the dancing moves of the pop legend, to the point that many viewers said that they were unable to tell whether it was Michael or Chris on the stage. However, when Chris got to the performance of Man in the Mirror, he broke down into tears and started crying, so much that he couldn't sing anymore and the crowd was helping him finish his lines. After the show, some said that it was all an act, and some were also wondering whether the tears were dedicated to Michael Jackson or to the incident with Rihanna. However, to most people, that was the most beautiful and the most touching tribute to Michael Jackson, and one of the best performances ever.

Toy Story 3

This is the third episode of the Toy Story series from Pixar animations, starring the voices of Tom Hanks as Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear, and many more famous voices.

In this movie, Andy was preparing to go to college. Since Andy was all grown up, he didn't spend any more time playing with his toys, and they felt left out. Later, they got donated to a day care center called Sunny Side, where they would find kids to play with them every day. However, when they got to Sunny Side, they discovered that their new life wasn't as perfect as they assumed; instead, it was a life of complete torture. Facing this situation, the toys had to make up one of their clever little schemes in order to find a way out of this horrible place.

New toys in the new Toy Story movie include Lots-o'-hugin bear also known as Lotso, Buttercup, Big Baby, the Triceratops, Pricklepants, Ken, Barbie, Chatter Telephone, Sparks, Dolly, Chunk, and many more.

Meanwhile, some old faces are also absent in this episode, such as the Car and the Binoculars.

First Picture From The Upcoming Thor Movie

The Thor movie, starring Chris Hemsworth, is set to be released no earlier than May 6th, 2011. However, this superhero film has already reached a pretty high popularity, along with the Captain America: The First Avenger movie starring Chris Evans as Captain America, and the Avengers movie, which are seriously being worked on after the big success of the Iron Man series (Robert Downey Jr.).
