First Picture From The Upcoming Thor Movie

The Thor movie, starring Chris Hemsworth, is set to be released no earlier than May 6th, 2011. However, this superhero film has already reached a pretty high popularity, along with the Captain America: The First Avenger movie starring Chris Evans as Captain America, and the Avengers movie, which are seriously being worked on after the big success of the Iron Man series (Robert Downey Jr.). Directed by Kenneth Branagh, the Thor movie will also star Tom Hiddleston, Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins, and Jaimie Alexander. Thor is a god, the god of thunder. After unleashing a violent war by his actions, he is punished to come live on earth among human beings. That is where he starts to learn to become a true hero, when the most powerful villain from his world starts attacking the earth with his evil powers, invading it with the darkest forces of Asgard.
