Poplular Film Adaptations Of Robin Hood

There have been many film adaptations of the legend of Robin Hood. Three of them are the most popular.

1. Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves (1991)


This version of the movie was released on June 14, 1991 in the USA, starring Kevin Costner, Morgan Freeman, Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, Christian Slater, and Alan Rickman. It's an action/adventure/drama remake telling the story of the fights of Robin Hood and his crew against the sheriff of Nottingham to gain justice.


2. Robin Hood: Men In Tights (1993)


This is a comedy version of the story starring Cary Elwes, a parody of the famous legend of Robin Hood, more spefifically of the previous film adaptation, Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves. In this movie, after the death of king Richard who was a perfect imitation of the king Richard played by Sean Connery in the previous version, Robin Hood went to "Rottingham" where he formed his crew of "merry men".


3. Robin Hood (2010)
