No More Arenas For Arenas?
According to multiple sources, Gilbert Arenas,, three-time NBA all-star, brought guns to the Washington wizards lockers. Apparently, all this happened because of a beef that Arenas had with his teammate Javaris Crittenton. The guns were apparently brought to the lockers only to scare the others, and was only considered as a joke by Arenas. Also, before the game of Tuesday January 5th, Arenas continued the jokes and pointed both hands at his teammates, mimicking gun shots at them, and they played along and laughed, but the NBA commissioner David Stern didn't feel the humor in this action. This may have led to an indefinite suspension of the three-time all-star. The suspension could be for 20 games, 40 games, or even for the whole season, because David Stern stated that with such a behavior the basketball star could not be permitted to enter an NBA arena. This was a very unthoughtful decision by Arenas who not only violated the laws of Columbia where gun possession are prohibited, but he also violated the laws of the National Basketball Association Which categorically prohibits gun carrying by the players whenever they're in a basketball arena or representing their teams somewhere else. On an interview with Arenas, the player was still laughing about the so-called "joke", despite all the trouble he was getting into:
